IND vs SL, 2nd Test, Day 2 Live Updates: Leading by over 350 runs, India are five wickets down in the second innings against Sri Lanka, on Day 2 of the ongoing second Test match, at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, on Sunday. Also, both teams have departed for Dinner. Shreyas Iyer and Ravindra Jadeja are currently batting for India and are adding more runs to the scoreboard. Meanwhile, Rishabh Pant was dismissed after registering the fastest fifty in Test cricket by an Indian. He reached his half-century in 29 balls. For Sri Lanka, Jayawickrama picked three wickets while Lasith Embuldeniya and Dhananjaya de Silva also picked a wicket each. Earlier, a five-for by Jasprit Bumrah helped India bowl out Sri Lanka for 109 on Day 2 and took a lead of 143 runs. Angelo Mathews top-scored for the visitors with a knock of 43 runs, in a performance where the team’s other batters failed. The five-for was also Bumrah’s first-ever in India. Meanwhile, R Ashwin and Mohammed Shami took two wickets each. Earlier, India were bowled out for 252, with Shreyas Iyer narrowly missing out on a ton. The batter smashed 92 runs off 98 balls, also hammering 10 fours and four sixes. Meanwhile, Lasith Embuldeniya, Praveen Jayawickrama took three wickets each for the visiting bowling department.
