The Russia-Ukraine conflict is raging and the precarious situation is triggering responses from around the world. Billionaire Elon Musk is back in the limelight and this time the Tesla Boss has challenged Russian President Vladimir Putin to a ‘single combat’.
The SpaceX chief challenged the Russian President through a series of tweets.
“I hereby challenge Vladimir Putin to single combat,” Musk wrote on Twitter, adding: “Stakes are Ukraine,” a reference to Russia’s attacks on the country.

While Russia has not responded to the billionaire’s Tweet, however, the head of the Russian Space Agency responded by calling Musk a ‘weakling’ in his
Tweet in Russian.
The 50-year-old businessman has been outspoken about his support to Ukraine ever since the start of the conflict on February 24.
A few days after the war began, Mykhailo Fedorov, the minister of digital transformation in Ukraine reached out to Musk on Twitter seeking access to Starlink, the SpaceX satellite-based internet service. This was after several parts of Ukraine witnessed power and internet outages.
In his response to the minister, Musk said that the Starlink internet has been activated in Ukraine and that the terminals needed to connect to his satellites were heading to Ukraine.
These terminals that look like satellite television dishes are capable of providing faster internet service than any local service provider. They connect with a fleet of satellites in low orbit to offer high-speed internet access.
After a few days, Fedorov tweeted the image of Starlink devices and thanked Musk. The billionaire responded saying, “you are most welcome.”

Interestingly, after Musk in his tweet challenged Vladimir Putin to a ‘single combat’, Fedorov tweeted saying that he was confident that Musk can send Putin to Jupiter.
I am sure that @elonmusk can send Putin to Jupiter. https://t.co/bXxy7yaQxJ
