Not long after Nothing launched its first product, the Nothing ear (1) TWS headset, the company announced a partnership with Qualcomm. And we heard a rumor that Nothing is working on its first phone months ago. So, what do you think it is that Carl Pei (CEO of Nothing) is showing to Cristiano Amon (CEO of Qualcomm) in this photo shared by @evleaks?

It sure looks like a phone. That shouldn’t be a surprise – a recent rumor claimed that the phone will be announced next month. According to said rumor, Pei was meeting with key industry executives during the MWC and showing off a prototype of the Nothing phone.
Carl Pei is famous for co-founding OnePlus and we knew he wouldn’t stay out of the smartphone game for too long after his departure from the company. But will Nothing be OnePlus 2.0? It’s hard to say, for now all we have heard about the phone is that it will have transparent elements, taking design cues from the Nothing ear (1).
Unfortunately, the photo doesn’t tell us much about the phone other than that it exists. It’s a safe bet that it will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset too, of course.
