Actress Vanitha Vijayakumar shot to fame after participating in ‘Bigg Boss 3’ hosted by Kamal Haasan. She became a controversial figure due to her confrontational attitude and aggressive behaviour in issues she believed in. Though she was evicted on the 21st day she was given a wild card entry on the 50th day and stayed in the house till the 84th day before being re-evicted.
Vanitha became synonymous with content and hence guest starred once again on ‘Bigg Boss 4’ and also danced at the ‘BBJodigal’ show from which she walked out after an altercation with host Ramya Krishnan.
Vanitha who was one of the star contestants of ‘Bigg Boss Ultimate’ which is currently streaming on Disney Plus Hotstar quit the show midway on day 24. There were several speculative reports on social media for the reason for her sudden walkout.
Vanitha herself has come clean and wrote on twitter “To those silly gossip mongers who connect my exit from #BBUltimate to #ramyakrishna …I chose to respect myself…i was mentally traumatized and couldn’t take anymore of the chaos…I chose to be brave enough to make a bold decision..i sincerely thank endemol and Disney Team for understanding my situation and cooperating with me .life gives you choices and you chose what works for you..I’ve always made strong decisions and never repented because I know what I want and what I am worth…too grown up for silly games..let the kids enjoy the drama.”
Earlier a promo showed Vanitha demanding the door of the ‘Bigg Boss Ultimate’ house to be opened. She was then summoned to the confession room where she told Bigg Boss that due to her mental and physical health she did not want to continue. When the showrunner reminded her of the agreement she replied that her lawyer would take care of it.
