iQOO 9 Pro’s global unit receives its first software update
Note that this update is seeding in India for the iQOO 9 Pro with model designation I2022. The smartphone will go on sale in the country starting March 2, so you will likely get an update prompt once you are done with the setup.
The iQOO 9 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC and has two memory options in India – 8GB/128GB and 12GB/256GB, priced at INR64,990 ($865/€770) and INR69,990 ($930/€825), respectively.
The iQOO 9 Pro’s global model runs Android 12-based Funtouch OS 12 out of the box instead of OriginOS like its Chinese counterpart but shares the rest of its specs, meaning you get a 6.78″ QHD+ 120Hz LTPO 2.0 curved AMOLED display, in-screen ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, 50MP triple camera, and 4,700 mAh battery with 120W wired and 50W wireless charging. The smartphone also supports reverse wireless charging.
