Xiaomi’s Redmi unveiled the Redmi K50 Gaming last week, but we know the company will launch more smartphones under the lineup since we saw the Redmi K50 Pro’s renders yesterday. And today, we are looking at the vanilla model’s images, revealing its design.
The Redmi K50 looks similar to the Pro version. It has a 6.6″ centered punch-hole display on the front, with the back sporting a camera island that reminds us of a few vivo smartphones, including the X60 Pro. The module houses an LED flash joined by three cameras.
The Redmi K50 has the USB-C port at the bottom flanked by a microphone and speaker, and up top is the secondary microphone joined by an IR Blaster. The volume rocker is located on the K50’s right-side frame with the power button, which doubles up as a fingerprint scanner.
The K50 is expected to come with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, up to 8GB RAM and up to 128GB storage, Android 12, 5,000 mAh battery, and 120W charging. The camera system on the rear is said to comprise 64MP, 8MP, and 5MP units.
